RECRUITING NOW - Please read before applying

The Purple Carrot Collective don't use SFPs, - we use our own skills to advance within the game - we don't buy our way forward. We do allow the use of auto-hibernataion SFP, and the switch land / buy land SFP, as these do not influence the game scoring. Anyone found to have used any other SFPs will be removed.
All our members are active, and we all try to help eachother with missions. Benefits of joining our cooperative are plenty of shared recipes - we have most recipes including all the better feeds. There's a much better chance of completeing missions quickly, as we all put aside a small percentage of our crops incase anyone needs it for future missions. We have all livestock and workshops within the coop, which can be used to win missions. You will benefit from our coop upgrades - cheaper market purchases, and increased market sale prices, and more. You can also seek advice, and help if needed.

We are now recruiting, but you must have Amateur status or above, to apply.

You must show your commitment by bringing at least 20 fame to the coop each game year ( this will be reduced by 5 fame for every mission that you have helped another member acheive, providing the mission is completed ). The minimum 20 fame/year should be easily acheived as you can ask other members to help you, and the minimum will be increased as the cooperative membership grows. This is in place to encourage active membership.

New members will have a probationary period, if you are not an active and productive member, you may be rejected - this may sound harsh, but it does ensure that everyone will try their best to help eachother, afterall, that is what a "cooperative" is all about.

All members must be willing to communicate with eachother in the forum and ingame messager. I will not dictate how you run your farm, but there are some basic guidelines which are in place to the benefit of all members, these will be forwarded to you and you will be asked to read and accept them before your membership will be validated.

Our goal is to complete as many missions as possible, by having a wide range of resources availlable, so please keep this in mind when you are deciding which animals to keep, what to grow, and what services to specialise in.

As our membership grows, the more missions we can complete, and then we can try for the challenges. Enthusistic and ambitious members will be rewarded with a fast growing, friendly cooperative, and will be able to reap its rewards, knowing that all has been acheived through pure game playing ( no SFPs).

If you want to apply, then please leave a description of your farm and your plans for the future, and I will be in touch.

(If you are new to the forum, and your first post is waiting for approval, please message me ingame to let me know, as I can approve your post.)

Hallo,
I have 94 fame, 5 fields, a hop garden, Silo, 10 berth chicken shed and a kitchen. I don't use SFP and try to remain organic where possible. In the mid to long term I'm hoping to go into brewing.

My farm name is neuman and I have 34 Fame. I have chickens, cows and a bakery to finance my farm. I have one employee and do not use credits, all hard work. I try to do as many missions as I can and usually have 4 or 5 missions on the go all the time. I am ranked 55 and have played 64 turns. I belong to a successful coop on the US server (Arbor Coop) and joined as the second member. Planning on adding a dairy in the future and then possibly a brewery. Willing to help out where I can.

Greetings Purple Carrot Collective,

The name's Macbeth, and I have been playing this game for over 100 turns now. I was originally trying to make it on my own, discovering the game as I went, but I have decided it is finally time to join a collective if I wish to continue further. With 157 fame points to my name, I know how missions work, and enjoy fulfilling them. It would be no problem for me to continue to do so for the better of the Co-op. I'd like to add to my recipe list so I can expand my farm with a production building. I have the funds to either build or expand now, I am just not certain which direction to grow.

You Co-op seems very active and supportive. I'd think I would enjoy working with your group to help us all grow and prosper.

I am siboney, I have 105 fame, one worker, four fields (two fields of them are used for feed, in the future - game's spring - I plan adding one more) and a chicken coop. So far I was taking care for building the stable basis for the farm, I've decided on the strategy of investing into having better quality of the chickens and upgrades before developing more the whole farm to provide the stable income for keeping and specializing worker. In the nearest future I plan to invest in the next animals, haven't decided yet on the kind. So far I use only organic and I am interested in the best quality of the stock I can achieve. In the further future I plan to invest into organic pesticide production to be able to provide them myself for the farm.
I am open to new challnges and suggestions.

Hi all,

I hope you accept me into your co-op. I have a flourishing farm, with 63 Fame, and a healthy cashflow. I employ 2 extra farmers both quite experienced in milling/baking.

I own a bakery and windmill, which fund my meat workshop, and livestock which are slowly gaining quality.

Once my livestock numbers and quality have gotten to an acceptable level I will purchase a kitchen where I can bake tasty meals for a great profit.

I am a team player and am willing to put in the hard yards, if I can be of assistance in missions, I definately will be.

Also, was wondering if we had a spreadsheet (like on GoogleDocs) so we can all post which missions we have so other members can see if they can be of assistance.

Hi SlyKris, I have PM you our coop guidelines. Just send me a message to let me know that you have read and understood them, and if everythings OK I'll validate your membership.
At the moment we message eachother through the game or on the forum if we need help with animal products for our missions. When you have read the guidelines you will see that all members place availlable crops on the exchange baord after harvesting, and you can view what everyone is growing on our ingame coop page. It seems to work quite well.
However, I shall certainly look into your suggestion, ......we can discuss it in the forum, and see if members think it would be beneficial.
